Thanks for the typo. You&#039;re right to talk about the datastore, it&#039;s not SQL. The hardest part is actually to learn and deal with the differences with SQL; I&#039;ve been using it recently and I have yet to get stuck on a problem.

It is based on BigTable that Google uses internally for pretty much all of their projects, and Amazon proposes something similar with their SimpleDB. I beliebe that most of the limitations are necessary to be able to scale painlessly.

The most annoying thing I found is that &quot;like&quot; search is a pain (isn&#039;t it ironic, for Google?)
